Next Event

NOTAM has been issued and we are go!

The only road we are allowed to use is the one between the gate and the launch site. No off road driving for recovery.

There will be a porta potty (tent type) on site.

Fall Frenzy launch is a go for September 17-18 . It is a two day launch with COSROCS  from Colorado springs. COSROCS mostly launches on Saturday but everyone is welcome both days.

Jon Skuba will bring the Moto Joe store. If any other vendors are coming please let me know and I'll help get the word out.

Keep in mind while traveling that 285 is diverted due to bridge replacement  so we can expect heavier than normal traffic between Fairplay and Highway 24 along Hwy 9.

As always there is no camping on site. There is Antero which is free, the Chaparral campground (private but reasonably priced) Eleven mile by reservation, and Motels in Fairplay.

I will be on site at 7 AM and we can launch as early as 8 AM if we are set up and ready.

I think there will be several level 1 attempts. Probably some L2's as well.

Normal altitude will be limited to 7,000 feed with windows to 14,200 feet AGL Please let me know when you arrive so we can coordinate windows with the FAA and limit the number wof window requests. I like to make it as easy for them as possible.

NOTAM will be issued on Thursday and I will update then.

Sparkies allowed!
