Next Event

Our next event Is Sunday, June 25.

Some special guests are scheduled to attend!:

  • Mike Kunetka a former prefect of Tripoli Colorado has a memorial launch in honor of Jeff Karpenske.
  • Jeff's wife Sally.
  • Sharon Hodges, hope she brings some research motors!

I will be on site at 7 AM. We should be set up and ready to launch at 8AM. Our normal altitude is 7,000 AGL and we can get windows to 14,200 ft AGL. Please let me know when you arrive if you will be needing a window. We usually launch until we are out of rockets or it becomes too windy. I would say it averages out to about 2 PM.

As always there is no camping on site. There is usually camping available at 11 Mile and at the Chapparal general store and campground.

You can monitor the launch situation here or at Tripoli-Colorado Facebook Group https://www.facebook.com/groups/118340628179345

Any last minute calls will be made Here with the Thumbs up Thumbs down.
